The Work
This hillside below a house in Coos Bay was bare, sloped dirt. We dug it out and graded it with our excavator and track loader. Then we laid filter fabric and rock, and set the first row of block on a gravel base. From there we built the wall up row by row, following the curve of the hill. We also built a drain into the wall to carry groundwater away.
