Coos Bay Mini Storage

A new mini storage facility going in on Ocean Boulevard in Coos Bay. Our scope here is the site prep. We are taking the full site down to subgrade and building the pads the structures sit on - stripping and hauling, cutting and filling to bring the whole site to the right elevation, then compacting the building pads so nothing moves once the buildings go up. Pad prep is where a storage facility is won or lost. These are long buildings with a lot of doors, and a pad that settles unevenly shows up fast - cracked slabs and doors that stop closing square. Get the compaction right and nobody ever has to think about it again. Concrete and asphalt on this job are handled by our subcontractors. The progress updates below run newest first.
